Cycle Tracker Pro App Reviews

Not up to date

Could be good, but its not optimized for iPhone 5 Bluetooth. It wouldve been nice if the description wouldve indicated that there is no way to capture sensor data. If you have Bluetooth hr and cadence sensors, just use Wahoo app and upload to Training Peaks from there.

Great!

Recommended to me by my coach. So far it has been fine, no loss is signal, and keeps us connected .

Overall good

Nice features including web interface. Cons: often crashes or unresponsive.

Good, not Great.

Ive used this mainly for running, but on the bike too. I like the interface and records. Doesnt upload to Facebook as it should, but not really an issue for me.

Great

Its a great app, only issue is too many glitches when the music is on. The app tends to lock up the music and the Audio feed back.

Meh!

Worked great last season. Now it loses data, miles. Last 5 rides have all been incomplete. When you ride 35 miles and only 23 are logged it doesnt make me happy. May try Map My Ride next.

With a few updates it will be perfect!

I keep having an issue with the app freezing and dropping audio updates during my ride. I only use it for cycling and if I get a call during a ride the audio stat updates will stop. The only way I have found to restart them is kill the app and open it again. Also a little trouble saving sometimes. But over all love the app!

Rsa

Am very happy with this app. I have not had any issues and have used it for all activities.

Does the job!

Keeps track of my run and cycling very well.

Great app

Works very well , wish my iPhone battery could last more 2 hours using it.

Works okay

Works fairly well...has some issues with auto resume so check it before you go and make sure it is resumed have had problems also with longer rides losing data. Like he auto upload to training peaks and ability to track workouts online.

Great app!

Use it 2x day - the voice updates re: distance, speed, calories burned, etc are GREAT for motivating me to pick up the pace when Im getting tired. Love it!

Works great !

Great for grading improvement, knowing how far and the cal burn generally nudges me to reach for a little more !! Just what I needed. H

great - just one beef

I like everything about this app except the calories burned meter. It seems to just increase at a constant rate (one for walking, one for running, one for cycling), so the final number depends only on how long the timer has run. I commute to work on my bike, about 10 miles each way. One day I mistakenly had the app set on walking instead of cycling and it showed that I burned less than half the usual amount of calories. It doesnt seem to take into account either the pace or how much hill climbing has been done

GPS is off in Airplane mode

I have used this App for biking and running and was initially very pleased with it in the first four months. More recently, I am having problems with it with it going into pause and not starting again when I hit the resume button. Also,I was forced to completely turn off my iPhone to quit this App - music continue to play. I attempted to use it for a hike in an area without cell phone service and found out it does not function in Airplane mode on the iPhone. Apparently, Airplane mode turns off the GPS. Battery life is drained when the phone continues searching for service.

Cycle Tracker

Very useful, intuitive and easy to use on any ride. Stores activity easily too. Worth the money!!

Cyclist

Keeps auto pausing I have never been able to track a complete ride due to sporadic autopause. Cant link polar heart rate monitor therefore need separate heart rate monitor and need to manually add heart rate info when doing upload to training peaks. Due to auto pause issue I am trying Strava next

Audio feedback & auto pause/resume rarely work

This is a great app-when it works, which is rare. All functions worked fine the first two rides I used it on, but since then the audio feedback during the ride has not worked at all and it does not auto-resume after an auto-pause causing a loss of miles and data for those miles. These two functions are the primary reasons I chose this app - especially the audio feedback during the activity - because it really helps us know whether to adjust our pace to stay on goal. Without these functions this is app is really just a GPS with a couple very basic equations used to give rudimentary estimates of performance metrics - (especially the calories burned data which seems to only be a function of time and not speed and/or elevation changes). If it is not updated to fix these issues soon I will try other apps - perhaps Map My Ride.

Time saver, gear reducer

I use this app for running and cycling, in conjunction with Training Peaks web app. Perfect for me, and since Im already bringing my phone, I dont have to carry other gear like a watch or cycle computer. Upload has greatly improved, and I dont have to manually enter route data, etc. would be five star if could collect heart rate data, power data. I like the voice updates, too.

Great app!

Easy to use, allows preferred settings, & good for multiple activities.
